Talents Unlimited "We Make Music" is an
organization of teachers and performers choosing to serve our
communities by empowering our students and co-workers to serve wherever
the Lord calls them. We have worked in churches, schools, beauty
pageants, state fairs, night clubs, dance studios, theater,
opera, concert halls, radio, television, public speaking, and
movies - bringing the opportunity to learn from someone "who's been
there". We want nothing more than to nurture and develop our
students' talents, and we are aware of the skills and
experiences a person needs to use our stewardship of what God has
given us.
Our staff continues to serve in the Music For
Ministry Guild, the American Guild of Organists, the
Association of Lutheran Church Musicians, the American Harp
Society, and the
National
Music Teachers' Association. We will be happy to help you when
you need a permanent or substitute speaker or musician, and can even get
you a gospel quartet, a choir, string quartet, brass quintet, flute trio,
harpist, clowns, magicians, and other Christian entertainers for special
occasions - or positions on your church staff. After all, that's
what we're training them for! We can also help you plan your music
ministry, sound system, choose instruments, and coordinate different types
of music for Traditional, Blended, and Contemporary services.
Director Laurel Gibson was chosen Illinois Teacher of the Year in 2001 for her discoveries
